Everet Law, The New Kid On The Block at Courtyard Estates!

My Dad recently became a new resident at Courtyard Estates. In the beginning he was very hesitant about giving it a chance. With the recent death of my Mother, Dad was struggling with overwhelming grief and lonliness, in addition to many health issues of his own.

How quickly that changed!

Within the first week he was telling me about all of his new buddies. Many of whom he had known when our family lived in the area. Dad would ask me if I remembered this person or that person and I would usually reply with, ” I think I went to school with their kids!”

Then during our daily conversations I started hearing about Thursday morning coffee with his friends became one of his favorite things to do. If there happens to be donuts or maybe a coffee cake, well…..that’s even better! I was so happy to hear he was truly enjoying the company of others!

Also during those telephone conversations, Dad tells me the food is delicious at Courtyard Estates. It seems like I can have whatever I want, he tells me. I am fairly positive at this point that his favorite meal is one that includes bacon! Even my calls from here in Germany can be cut short if it is mealtime. I’m ok with that.

I saved the best for last. Casey and the entire Courtyard Estates staff. What can I say? There are not enough words to express how I feel.

Thank you for all the loving care you have shown my dad. I believe he is feeling right at home now!

Hugs all around at Courtyard Estates,
