Is there an endowment fee?

No, it is a monthly rental rate. No endowment fee is required, however, a non-refundable processing fee is required and is transferable to our other facilities.

 

Is there financial support available?

Yes. Legacy Estates of Monmouth has a variety of payment options. We can provide financial guidance with Long Term Care Insurance policies and VA Aid & Assistance for those that qualify. Legacy Estates is also certified to accept Medicaid benefits and will handle the entire application process for you if you should need this assistance.

 

Do you allow pets?

Yes. Legacy Estates will allow small pets under 20 pounds. All incoming pets must have current shot records and the tenant must be able to care for the pet by themselves as our staff cannot provide assistance to your beloved pets. A $250.00 pet deposit is due upon admission and one of our friendly staff members will review the Pet Policy with you.

 

Am I allowed to use an assistive device such as a cane, walker or wheelchair?

Yes. If your physician deems it appropriate for you. Tenants in Motorized Wheelchairs will be required to complete a safe driving assessment in order to use the device in the facility. No motorized scooters are allowed on the facility van.

 

What activities are offered?

A variety of activities are offered each day to keep your mind sharp and your social life jumping! Card games, outings, crafts, fun exercise & much, much more. Legacy Estates of Monmouth also provides many opportunities for worship. Church service is held each Sunday and Bible Study once per week.

 

How much does it cost to live at Legacy Estates of Monmouth?

This will depend on the level of assistance you require. At Legacy Estates, we have the ability to provide various levels of care to meet your changing needs. Your monthly rate may need to be adjusted to meet your changing care needs.

 

What can I bring with me when I move to Legacy Estates?

You can bring as many personal items as you wish for your apartment. Though some downsizing typically occurs, we encourage as many personal items as makes you comfortable. Common choices include a bed, dresser, night stand, chair &/or sofa, television and a small table and chairs.

 

How do I know if I qualify for Medicaid services?

Contact Legacy Estates and we would be glad to discuss your personal situation with you. Our friendly staff will complete the application process for you with your assistance. If you are eligible for Medicaid benefits, your monthly rent amount is determined by your income.
