The kindness and care of the staff at Courtyard for my mom was amazing. They watched out for her well-being, and provided a sunny peaceful environment filled with food and snacks, clean rooms, fun activities and outings, and beautiful holidays. Erika and the staff welcomed my mom, and treated her with respect, as if she were their mother or grandmother. When she was transitioning to Heaven, they held her hand and ours, and shared our loss. My siblings and I are so thankful that she had such a wonderful place to call home in her final years. ♥️Debra

She loved everything about Courtyard Estates and stayed there until medically unable.The facility is beautiful, staff competent and caring, delicious food, and delightful activities! In fact, my heart is still there as I volunteer to play piano and sing with the residents every month for the past decade! It has remained the friendly place Mom loved so much…as do I!!

What an amazing facility! The nursing staff always goes above and beyond to provide residents with genuine care and compassion. Housekeeping and dietary staff always add special touches to making the facility feel a little more like home. The maintenance department always assists with any needs in order to ensure the facility and apartments run smoothly and safely. Most importantly, the staff never limits the care they provide to just their "job description" - they truly care for the residents and do whatever it takes to make someone feel safe, welcome and loved. This is an amazing facility for someone to work at, as well as to call home.

Erika and her staff are always willing to go the extra mile for their residents. They always have fun events planned. I was asked to judge the door decorations for Christmas and the entire event was so fun. I can say every time I walk in the door I'm always greeted with a smile. Awesome facility!

My grandma lived at Courtyard for a few years and I can say without a doubt that not only were we very comfortable and confident with them and their staff, but she had made many life time friends. The bonds between those friends only grew stronger every day. Each employee treated her as if she were already a part of their family. I only hope I can live in a place like this when I get older.

The best word to describe CYE is Family. The love and care and attention CYE give to their guests is incomparable. Once you walk through those doors you become just that, FAMILY. Activities, exposure to the community, children, music and art, are just a small sample of things your loved ones become part of. They aren’t alone ever. The staff works hard and shows love and support and care, working as a team. The reason, they’re Director, Erika. Her staff show so much love and consideration because of how they are treated and cared for by their director. They all become FAMILY once they walk through CYE doors💕

I remember looking at Courtyard when it was first built… I knew my Mom would love all the activities- the beautiful dinning room and all the residents .. Mom was the 2nd person to put a deposit down & then her health required skilled care.. I was sad for her but have continued to love this place and would highly recommend.. I have been a guest at CYE in Sullivan for about three years; I came here to receive physical therapy and to recuperate after breaking my hip. I have been so pleased with the treatment that I’ve received; the administrator here is so concerned with what goes on with her residents and if there are concerns she addresses them promptly! The nursing staff ( CNA ) is friendly and most helpful; the cleaning ladies go out of their way to please. The meals are well balanced and nutritious; some times I even ask for seconds! 😊 if anything in my room needs attention the maintenance staff is quick to resolve the problem. In conclusion I would highly recommend COURTYARD ESTATES for anyone who is in need of professional care and for any loved ones that appreciate a warm, friendly environment with caring professionals.

You want to know the process of moving mom into Courtyard and why we chose Courtyard. This may be a little hard for you to hear, but you were one of the main reasons — your personal attention to mom’s needs and our family. You listened to our concerns and took action.
The move was so easy and the transition was so smooth that the process seemed seamless. Mom lived in her house one day, with all the worries and headaches of homeownership, and the next day she woke up in a new, wonderful facility. The headaches and worries of day to day living were lifted off her shoulders. And her 4 children all believe this will add quality and quaintly of days to her life.
Moving into Courtyard Estates has been like coming home as I had grown up in this area. The staff here plus my family and friends have made it feel like home.
Bridging the Gap
Courtyard Estates of Sullivan is an alternative level of quality housing appropriate for many seniors who choose not to live alone. At Courtyard Estates, we will create a service plan for each tenant upon admission. The service plan is updated regularly to assure that the tenant receives the appropriate care according to his or her needs and preferences.
It is our goal for all area seniors to take advantage of the full range of services available. If continuing care needs evolve to include a higher level of nursing services and relocation is imminent, our trained professionals will be there to assist with the transition.
